With over 5 years of hands-on appliance repair experience, I've seen just about everything — from ancient dryers that should've been retired years ago to brand-new refrigerators with factory defects that had owners convinced they did something wrong.
Before making the move to Oregon about two years ago, I spent several years buying and refurbishing used appliances. That work taught me how appliances are built, why they fail, and what it actually takes to make them last. Every refrigerator I resurrected gave me deeper insight into the craft — and a level of diagnostic skill you simply can't get from a textbook.
When I settled in Troutdale, I saw an opportunity to bring something better to the East Metro Portland area. Too many homeowners were getting burned by repair shops that overcharged, took weeks to schedule, or treated the symptom instead of the root cause. I decided the only way to do it right was to do it myself — so I founded Prime Appliance Repair LLC.
Every call is personal. I handle every job myself, which means you get honest answers, real expertise, and repairs that actually hold up. And because I've been on both sides of the transaction — buying, selling, and fixing — I know what it means to be fair with pricing and straightforward about whether an appliance is worth saving.
